queer, love

They have been together for 52 years. To those around them, Vitalius and Albinas present themselves as father and son, although in reality they are a couple.

In Soviet times, when men met, admitting that they were homosexual was extremely dangerous: it was considered an illness and a crime. Back then, to protect himself and his beloved, Vitalius learned to lie, and after living together in a free Lithuania for more than three decades, they still do not feel safe and are still waiting for the opportunity to legalize their partnership.

As Albina grows older and gradually loses his memory, Vitalius feels tired of hiding. And for the first time, he decides to tell the story of their lives in public.
