Three well-known podcasts – ‘Proto Pemza’, 'Nara' and ‘Išpakuota’ - bring different communities together in different ways. How can a podcast be a tool for cultivating, activating and nurturing community? In a world saturated with content, does it make sense to seek popularity? How do you build a symbiotic rather than exploitative relationship with your listeners, whose support you ask for at the end of each episode? How to keep a podcast alive for at least a few years and maybe even let it support you.

Rugilė Matusevičiūtė

The co-founder of ‘Išpakuota’, a podcast about sustainable living and ecology. She also works as a climate communication specialist, coordinator of sustainability projects, is the head of the ‘Sustainable Lithuania’ initiative, organises environmental initiatives at the Green Policy Institute, gives lectures and workshops to private companies and schools, and consults businesses on sustainability communication.
