After a series of unsuccessful appeals to the Lithuanian Courts, Pijus Beizaras and his boyfriend at the time Mangirdas Levickas launched a case against Lithuania at European Court of Human Rights because the Courts here refused to start an investigation after the couple received a wave of hatred under a photo on Facebook showing them kissing.
