With this sincere and direct documentary — shaped as a research-in-action — we aim to reposition the question of illness at the heart of a broader perspective: in its relationship to the living. Far from offering a ready-made answer to what a “good” treatment of illness might be, the narrative brings forth questions. These remain open, touching on broader, sensitive, societal, and political issues that concern us all. Through a series of encounters, people speak freely about what unfolds in their intimate experiences — without taboos or determinism — among friends or in therapists’ offices, listening to researchers and specialists.
